Peter is a deal lead on the Private Placement Team within private investments. He works alongside the Investment Team in all aspects of the deal process, including the origination, underwriting, monitoring, and analysis of globally sourced privately placed debt securities.

Peter has spent close to 15 years in the private placement market on both the sell-side and the buy-side. Prior to joining Wellington, he was senior director of private capital investors at MetLife Investments in New York City where he was responsible for private placement debt origination for the East Coast. He also served as vice president of private capital markets at Barclays Capital in London, focusing on origination, structuring and execution of US private placements alongside other debt capital markets products. He started in the graduate program at Deloitte Consulting, UK, where he served in several roles including senior consultant.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Birmingham. He also holds a chartered institute of management accounting license.
