Profile

Vincent Nicoletti is the Chief Financial Officer of Alinta Energy, a leading provider of gas and electricity in Australia. Vincent has also been CFO of Orica Limited and Broadspectrum Limited, which are leaders in mining materials and services, respectively. His career as a company CFO has been underpinned by extensive experience in commercial, risk, systems and business development roles, in Australia and internationally.

Prior to Orica and Broadspectrum, he was VP Strategy, Business Development and Colombia Coal for BHP Billiton's Energy Coal business, based in Sydney Australia. He has also acted as President of BHP Billiton's global Energy Coal business. He was CFO – BHP Billiton Marketing & Commercial, based in The Hague and CFO of BHP Billiton Aluminium, based in London.

His background covers finance, planning, research, business development, business evaluation, risk management, marketing, IT / IM and operational management. He has worked in the nickel, gold, aluminium and coal industries and has experience at operating sites, as well as divisional and corporate offices, in a variety of functions.

Vince has a Masters Degree in Mineral Economics from the WA School of Mines. He also has a Bachelor of Business Degree (Curtin University) and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.
