Michel Léonard is a founding member of BTB with over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate. BTB began its operations in 2006 without any asset and today, it owns 75 properties the value of which is $1.2B. During his career, he played a key role in assisting numerous regional and national organizations with real estate strategic planning, analysis, lease negotiations, and complex relocations. He is Vice Chair of the Board of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) and served as its Chair until November 2019. He is also a former Chair of the Board of the Fonds d’assurance professionnelle du courtage immobilier du Québec (FARCIQ). In 2016, he received the ASC (Chartered Director) designation from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés. Mr. Léonard has been a member of the Québec Bar since 1982 (now retired) and holds both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University.
