Blair has spent over 15 years advancing sustainability, energy efficiency, and decarbonization across the real estate value chain. Over more than a decade in consulting and advisory, he supported Canada’s largest landlords and institutional real estate owners in improving portfolio sustainability performance and reducing emissions. He later advised leading North American financial institutions, logistics firms, and telecommunications organizations on decarbonization strategy, renewable energy, and capital planning, and went on to lead teams delivering those initiatives across corporately owned and operated real estate assets.

In 2024, Blair joined The Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) to lead sustainability, decarbonization, and climate risk strategy for its real estate investment portfolio. He works across the full real estate lifecycle, focusing on how sustainability performance and climate risk management can inform long-term value and resilience.
