Chetan Baweja leads strategy, execution, and client relations for BGO’s Canadian Value-Add business and Separately Managed Institutional Accounts platform in Canada. Since joining BGO in 2016, Chetan has held progressively more senior roles in Investment Management and prior to his current role, oversaw a large portfolio of Canadian real estate and global fund investments for a top institutional client.

Chetan is a member of the BGO Canadian Executive Team and Leadership Team as well as the Canadian Value Add Investment Committee. At BGO he is passionate about developing a strong culture and focus on mentorship. Chetan is also actively involved in the real estate industry and community through board positions with NAIOP, Toronto Financial District BIA and the George Hull Centre, a children’s mental health charity. Chetan holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Major in Finance from the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, graduating Cum Laude.

Prior to BGO, Chetan was with Cadillac Fairview and GE Capital Real Estate, where he spent several years.
