Dennis leads RioCan’s exceptional Finance, Treasury & Capital Markets, Investor Relations, and Information Technology functions. As CFO, he ensures his team partners closely across the business to drive value creation while maintaining a strong balance sheet. Dennis brings extensive experience spanning corporate and operational finance, including significant expertise in financial management, business leadership, and corporate strategy during organic growth and capital development periods.

Before joining RioCan in 2021, Dennis served as Managing Director at Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and Chief Financial Officer for Enwave Energy, Brookfield’s district energy business. Prior to this, he held progressively senior roles in Brookfield Asset Management and Kinross Gold, beginning his career with five years of foundational training at KPMG. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics and Accounting from Wilfred Laurier University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
