Jose Maldonado is a senior professional with over 15 years of experience across real estate investment, asset management, and development. He is currently an SVP of Finance and Strategy at Dream, where he oversees corporate finance, capital allocation, valuation, executive oversight over the Western Canadian land and housing operations, FP&A, debt, and strategic planning initiatives across multiple asset classes.

Prior to Dream he had worked at the corporate banking division of two Canadian banks and a diversified REIT that was acquired by Dream REIT in 2011. Jose has held roles across Dream Office, Dream Global, and Dream Asset Management, giving him a broad perspective on both public and private real estate platforms. His work focuses on evaluating long-term investment opportunities, optimizing capital structures, and aligning financial strategy with business execution. He works closely with investment, development, and operating teams to assess risk, unlock value, and support sustainable growth.
