Joshua Sonshine helps businesses and individuals access the capital they need to achieve their commercial real estate goals. Having arranged and closed more than $5.9 billion in direct transaction volume over 10 years for two of Canada’s largest lenders, Mr. Sonshine is uniquely positioned to guide owners and operators through a smooth and thorough financing process that garners the best possible loan terms, whether via an acquisition, refinance, or renewal.

After graduating from Western University in 2014, Mr. Sonshine joined TD Bank’s Commercial Mortgage Group and followed his passion for commercial real estate lending to Canada Life (Great-West Life), where he became Managing Director of Mortgage Investments. He is excited to be supporting owners and operators as a broker at CBRE. He leverages his lending background and CBRE's incredible global Debt & Structured Finance platform and team to achieve world-class results for clients. Throughout his career Mr. Sonshine has been a team builder, catalyst for change and active philanthropist involved in causes including the Canadian Mental Health Association, Mount Sinai Health Foundation, Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and UJA. In 2020, Mr. Sonshine was a finalist for the Canadian Real Estate Young Leaders Award and participates in industry organizations including REALPAC, TREL and NAIOP, where he mentor students interested in joining the commercial real estate industry.
