Katie Bonar oversees underwriting, credit adjudication, funding, risk and account management, and special loans at Cameron Stephens. In her 12 years at the company, she has risen from Analyst to Senior Vice President through her commitment to mastering the intricacies of real estate lending and credit adjudication. Katie played a pivotal role in launching both Cameron Stephens Mortgage Trust, the company’s retail mortgage fund with an AUM of ~$140 million, and Cameron Stephens Equity Capital, which partners with real estate developers on residential and industrial projects. Her meticulous approach has been integral to these successes. With a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a CFA designation earned in 2016, Katie’s academic achievements complement her hands-on experience and further exemplify her commitment to continual growth and development.
