Phil Stone is Managing Director, Head of Canadian Research and Portfolio Manager based in Toronto. He oversees BGO Canada’s research program which synthesizes macroeconomic, demographic, capital market and space market trends to deliver actionable insights to clients. Phil’s portfolio management responsibilities include management of a diverse portfolio of clients and assets. Phil has 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry working in investment management roles such as research, valuation, asset management, and portfolio management. He has worked for several prominent commercial real estate firms, including Sun Life, SmartCentres, and Starlight. Phil has an Honours B.Comm from McMaster University and is a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE).
