As the Chief Executive Officer of Kindred Works, Tim Blair co-leads the development of a nationwide portfolio of mixed-income rental housing and gathering spaces. He has spent over 20 years in Canada’s housing sector, specializing in finance, institutional and residential real estate, development, and operations. Kindred Works is an independent, for-profit company, revolutionizing rental housing for people and our planet by tackling the two most pressing issues of our generation – housing and climate change. In Kindred Works’ short history, it has launched over 20 projects into active development across Canada, and targets 30 per cent of its rental homes to meet core housing needs. Kindred Works builds stable, carbon neutral and rental homes, which will foster thriving neighbourhoods for generations to come. Over the next 15 years, Kindred Works will deliver rental housing for 20,000 people across Canada.
