Kaneka Green Planet PHBH™ is not only bio-based and home compostable, it’s resistant to heat and can act as a water vapor barrier. Our grades are stable under everyday usage conditions but provided the right conditions, under either anaerobic, aerobic, or marine conditions in the natural environment, the product will begin to biodegrade and will return back to nature. It can replace traditional plastic products such as cups, cutlery, plates, pouches, film, straws, packaging material, or other single-use items.
