Ntheye Lungu is an accomplished professional with expertise in assurance and resilience. He is accountable for the planning, implementation, and execution of Business Resilience strategies at Old Mutual Insure, with specific focus on operational resilience. Ntheye also assumes the responsibility of reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee on the financial, strategic, and personnel resilience of the entire organization. As the OM Insure Lead in Crisis Management, Ntheye plays a pivotal role in overseeing the development of the operational response strategies to significant scenarios such as the recent Covid-19 pandemic and the current energy crisis impacting the country. In addition to his responsibilities over Business Resilience, Ntheye is entrusted with the leadership of the Combined Assurance function, which he played a critical role in setting up over four years ago. This function supervises the planning, implementation, and reporting on assurance activities across OM Insure from the diverse range of assurance providers, with the view to enhance the performance of the systems of controls over the risks that matter to the business.
