Having lead teams in different organisations that were voted Industry leaders in Risk Management, Thabile Nyaba is passionate about building risk intelligent organisations, transforming teams and unleash greatness in those she leads. Currently she is leading a vibrant and highly performing team as the Chief Risk Officer at OM Insure. She has extensive and practical experience in GRC, Internal Audit and Combined Assurance in private, public sectors and consulting.

Thabile is one of the first “Certified Risk Management Practitioners” (CRM Prac) and Certified Risk Management Professional” (CRM Prof) in South Africa.

She is the winner of “Risk Manager of the Year 2015 Runner Up” and her and her team are winners of “Industry Initiative Award for Insurance and Reinsurance” 2019.

She is currently the President of IRMSA (Institute of Risk Management South Africa).

She enjoys igniting passion from the organisations to derive value from Risk Management. Her greatest joy comes in spending time with her family and connecting youth with opportunities.
