Adrian Munday is the Global Head, Operational, Technology and Cyber Risk at Standard Chartered. Adrian leads the design and execution of the bank’s enterprise approach to non-financial risk across operations, technology and cyber, strengthening governance, resilience and control effectiveness across a global footprint.

Working with senior leadership and the board, Adrian drives large-scale transformation to simplify risk management, sharpen accountability, and embed sustainable control frameworks, while enabling the safe adoption of emerging technologies. His remit spans regulatory engagement, operational resilience, cyber and third-party risk, and the integration of capabilities such as artificial intelligence into enterprise risk management.

Adrian has held senior leadership roles across risk and business functions and is an active contributor to industry dialogue on resilience, artificial intelligence, and responsible innovation.
