Alistair Nunn is a Chief Risk Officer at BNY overseeing AI development and solutions globally. His role also includes oversight of BNY’s Data & Analytics Business and Strategic Partnerships and Innovation activity. Alistair has over 25 years of risk experience across Investment, Corporate and Retail Banking, working across both first and second lines of defence. Prior to joining BNY four years ago, Alistair was the CRO for Barclays Ventures, focusing on developing new innovative business lines within the UK Bank by leveraging new technologies and fintech partnerships. Alistair is currently Co-Chair of the Associate for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) AI Governance and Risk Forum and has held advisory roles with the Institute of Risk Management focusing on Operational Risk Management.
