Andrew Bowley is responsible for leading the development of strategic initiatives on Sustainability, covering Wells Fargo’s activities outside the U.S. with a particular focus on APAC and EMEA. The role provides business strategy and thematic leadership, acting as sponsor and coordinator of these efforts, and supporting the company’s opportunity realisation, corporate targets, and regulatory requirements. Andrew joined Wells Fargo in 2023 after a 15 year tenure at Nomura, most recently responsible for Sustainability for the Wholesale Investment Banking division. Andrew has enjoyed a deep financial services career, working on trading floors in London for over 30 years, after growing up and starting work in Hong Kong. His journey spans time in equities and fixed income, regulatory and governance roles, and 11 years of Non Executive Director experience.
