Ann Roughead is an experienced Chair, Senior Independent Director, Non-Executive Director and former CEO with more than 35 years’ experience across financial services, including senior roles with JPMorgan, Citi, Columbia Threadneedle and LV=.

Her career spans asset management, wealth management, banking, insurance and financial technology, giving her a broad commercial perspective on the risks facing financial services businesses. Rather than approaching risk solely as a technical discipline, Ann focuses on risk through a business and board lens — how organisations balance risk with strategy, opportunity, innovation, customer outcomes and long-term value creation.

She has extensive experience of governance, business transformation, regulatory change and M&A. Increasingly, her board work also focuses on the opportunities and risks created by AI, cyber security and rapidly evolving technology platforms, and what these mean for boards, businesses and their customers.
