Asaf Huseynov is the Group Chief Risk Officer of Pasha Holding, a diversified investment and financial services group operating across multiple countries. The group includes systemic banks and insurance companies in Azerbaijan, along with international subsidiaries in Turkey and Georgia, making it one of the region’s largest privately owned financial institutions.

With nearly two decades of experience in banking, insurance, capital markets, and financial regulation, he also served on the boards of key financial market institutions such as the national stock exchange and the credit bureau. Earlier in his career, he worked at the country’s central financial regulator, contributing to banking supervision and regulatory policy.

In his current role, he oversees group-wide risk management across credit, market, liquidity, operational and strategic risks. He advises executive leadership and boards on risk appetite, capital resilience, and crisis preparedness, while designing enterprise-wide risk frameworks, strengthening governance systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
