Ben Carr leads climate risk product development at Bloomberg. He is a climate-related financial risk expert with over two decades of financial services experience working in both the public and private sector including at the Bank of England, the European Commission and Aviva.

He represents Bloomberg on the Climate Financial Risk Forum (CFRF), a financial services industry forum established jointly by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority, and is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals Sustainability and Climate Risk Advisory Committee.

Ben is also a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics and holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Warwick.
