Bonnie Frank is Managing Director and Head of Private Investment and Enterprise Risk, at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments), leading a diverse team who oversee and perform an independent fundamental analysis of private investments covering various asset classes. She is responsible for ensuring a robust corporate-wide enterprise risk framework that includes non-investment and operational risk management, risk transfer solutions and the Corporate Global Insurance Program. Previously, she held the overall responsibility of crisis management, security, and operational resiliency across offices.
Graduating from McGill University and then with a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the Université de Montréal, Bonnie began her career at Aon Risk Solutions, eventually serving as Assistant Vice President. She then went on to work in Strategy Planning and Risk Management at the Business Development Bank of Canada before joining PSP Investments in 2011.
Outside of PSP, Bonnie champions a comprehensive risk management approach sitting on industry advisory Boards and several non-for-profit Boards and committees. She was named a Leading Risk Manager by Insurance Business Canada and her team was a shortlisted nominee for the 2019 and 2021 Excellence in Governance Awards for Best Practice in Enterprise Risk Management, winning in 2022.
