Caroline Oosterloo was appointed as ad interim member of the Executive Board and Chief Risk Officer of ABN AMRO Bank N.V., effective 24 April 2024. She is responsible for Risk Management and Compliance.
Caroline started her career over 30 years ago with ABN AMRO and has held several leadership positions in commercial areas, operations and risk management. From 2020 she was positioned at the heart of ABN AMRO’s risk management as Head of Central Risk Management. In this role she was responsible for enterprise risk management, model risk management and sustainable risk management.
Between 2010 and 2020 she held several executive positions with Deutsche Bank, including Head of Financial Restructuring and Recovery, Chief Risk Officer Deutsche Bank Netherlands and (global) Head of Change for Credit Risk Management.
Education:
• A variety of education in banking, finance and management
• Master’s degree in Dutch Law, University of Utrecht (1989) Ancillary positions:
