Cindy LevySenior Partner at McKinsey & Company
Cindy leads our global Risk Practice and is based in our London office. Since joining McKinsey in 1992, she has built up extensive experience in helping financial institutions address their most complex business challenges, with a particular focus on risk strategy, enterprise risk management (ERM), and risk culture.
Cindy’s recent projects include:
- helping a large bank revamp its ERM model and transform its risk culture
- conducting an enterprise-wide risk review at a leading financial institution in the wake of significant losses
- developing a corporate- and investment-banking strategy for a global bank
- major restructuring projects, including the creation of “bad bank” structures
Cindy is a frequent speaker at international conferences on risk and also contributes regularly to McKinsey’s risk publications. Her insights on risk management have been featured in the Economist and other publications. Before joining McKinsey, she was a corporate finance analyst at Goldman Sachs, where she worked on a range of M&A, debt, and equity financing transactions.
