David Cassonnet started his career as a trader assistant on the French CAC Index option pit trading floor in Paris. Shortly after, David was offered a role with Summit Systems. While at Summit, David held various roles across Europe and APAC. In 2010, David joined the several of founders of Summit in their new adventure, Quartet Financial Systems (now known as ActiveViam), a pioneer in in-memory computing technology delivering advanced real time analytical capability to large financial institutions.

Today, David runs the business development organization for ActiveViam globally. In his role, David manages a team of software engineers/data scientists and business analysts where they help financial organizations around the world solve their most complex data analytic problems within their risk management departments and/or trading environments. David currently lives in France and holds a masters degree in economics and finance from Paris Sorbonne University.
