David Cassonnet is SVP - Global Head of Solution Engineering at ActiveViam, a real-time analytics provider for financial services. Over a 25+ year career at the intersection of finance and technology, he has built and led business development and solution engineering teams across Paris, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Sydne, including launching ActiveViam's APAC operations in 2010.

Before ActiveViam, David spent nearly 14 years with Misys Banking Systems (Summit Systems), holding roles including Head of Operations, and Director of Professional Services across Asia Pacific, delivering front-to-back-office treasury and derivatives solutions to banks in the APAC region.

David works closely with risk analysts, CROs, treasurers, and quants to help financial institutions turn Atoti, ActiveViam's real-time analytics platform, into practical business value: faster risk reporting, smarter position management, and deeper analytical insight. His domain expertise spans market, credit, and liquidity risk, ALM, and regulatory frameworks including FRTB, IRRBB, SA-CCR, and IFRS 9.

A regular conference speaker, David focuses on how AI and real-time data are reshaping risk management and decision-making across capital markets.
