Dr. Peik Achtert is Head of Compliance at Helaba, with more than 10 years of leadership experience across compliance, governance, non-financial risk management, and regulatory transformation. Before joining Helaba, he held various leadership roles, focusing on Governance and Non-Financial Risks, Compliance and Regulatory Remediation. His international experience spans across Europe and South-East Asia, where he used to act as a General Manager at Commerzbank Singapore. After completing his studies in German and European Business Law he earned his Ph.D. in bank risk management.
