Emidio is Head of Group Enterprise Risk Management at UniCredit since July 2025.

In this role, he oversees strategic risk, the Risk Appetite Framework, stress testing, ICAAP, credit and financial risk analytics, and the integration of AI and ESG into the Group's risk management framework.

With more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry, Emidio has built an extensive expertise across the full spectrum of risk management, holding senior leadership roles in credit risk, strategic risk management and model validation, leading risk strategy, regulatory transformation, capital optimization and advanced analytics initiatives in complex international banking environments. Prior to his current role, he was Head of Credit Models & Risk Policies at UniCredit. Before joining the Group, he had the role of Head of Market Risk at Intesa Sanpaolo.

Emidio holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a Master of Science in Finance and Risk Management, and has completed executive education programs in leadership and corporate governance at IMD, INSEAD and SDA Bocconi.
