Giulio Mignola leads the Credit, Enterprise and Operational Risk Management teams of Intesa Sanpaolo. He has responsibility for defining Risk Appetite, credit risk models development, operational risk management, risk clearing, reputational and ESG risk management, economic capital, credit and integrated risk reporting, stress testing and risk culture.
Giulio is at various universities and masters in Italy.
Giulio helped to found ORX, globally the most important financial industry association on Operational Risk, holding the post of Chairman of the Board from 2009 to 2014 and still actively involved in the Association’s executive board..
Before joining Intesa Sanpaolo, Giulio spent two years as a researcher at CERN in Geneva and one year at the LAPP in Annecy.
Giulio has a PhD in theoretical physics, and a degree in Physics from the University of Turin. Giulio recently also completed the Corporate Affairs & Reputation Academy at the Saïd Business School – University of Oxford.
