Giuseppe has 35 years’ experience in the financial services sector and has been with Gruppo Generali for over 10 years, most recently as Head of Group Compliance Governance, Methodologies & Assurance. Prior to this, he held a number of senior roles in Unicredit, Intesa San Paolo and KPMG.

He has developed deep experience of over 20 years in the monitoring of operational processes within the Compliance perimeter, in risk assessment methodologies and in the structured monitoring of the control system in international groups such as the Generali Group and Unicredit. It has developed specific expertise in data and process optimization through the management of artificial intelligence projects applied to risk management processes, to improve risk detection, decision quality, and operational efficiency, building on the expertise developed at Gruppo Generali.

He has developed a solid expertise in leading organizational transformations and large-scale risk management by participating in several merger and acquisition projects (Intesa Sanpaolo and Unicredit).

He developped competencies in KPMG/Nolan Norton on the design and implementation of computing platforms and digital solutions. Giuseppe holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano University.
