Gregg Jones joined ISDA in February 2018, working to advance ISDA’s aims and objectives relating to risk and capital issues. Mr. Jones’ work involves producing discussion papers covering key topics in derivatives, public policy and financial regulation. The Risk and Capital Department is closely involved in the global implementation of all aspects of Basel III and he is responsible for all Market Risk related issues, in particular the ‘Fundamental Review of the Trading book’ and also leads on ISDA’s ESG risk related initiatives.
Mr. Jones has worked in the financial industry for over 20 years, and before joining ISDA he was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley in the Risk Management department responsible for various capital initiatives including ICAAP, Stress Testing, Recovery Planning, prior to this he also worked as a Market Risk Manager at Barclays Capital, Daiwa SMBC and Royal Bank of Scotland.
