Gugu is a Certified Risk Management Practitioner with the Institute of Risk Management South Africa and an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of Eswatini with 16 years’ progressive experience in the financial services sector. Additionally, she holds a Master of Business Administration from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Eswatini.

Gugu has worked across multiple sectors within the Eswatini financial services sector which include insurance, asset management, development finance, FinTech, and now banking holding multiple roles looking after legal, governance, risk and compliance. She currently serves as Chief Risk Officer for FNB Eswatini and serves as a member of the Ethics Committee for the Eswatini Institute of Accountants.

Gugu values relationships, learning, and building meaningful partnerships. When she’s not working or studying, she dedicates herself to mentoring others and spending time out in nature with her two little boys.
