Hanna is the Group Chief Risk Officer at Bankmed, a regional corporate, retail and private banking organisation headquartered in Lebanon with operations in the EMEA region. He is responsible for developing and implementing the Group risk management strategy and framework to support delivery of the strategic goals of the Group and its subsidiaries. Previously, Hanna was the Head of Risk Strategy at Bank of Ireland Group and held senior roles at Ernst & Young, KPMG and Accenture having responsibility for delivery of Risk & Regulatory Management Consulting projects to Financial Services clients in the UK and globally.
Hanna is an experienced executive with proven track record of implementing risk management programmes that deliver effective results. He has over twenty years' risk management experience gained across all major industry segments in a wide number of geographic markets. He holds a specialised Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from ESSEC Business School and an MSc in Finance from Paris-Dauphine University in France. He has authored many articles on financial risk management and is a frequent speaker at leading UK and international conferences.
