Hylton van Zyl is a Technology Partnership Development (TPD) executive in Global Technology (GT). He is responsible for finding emerging technology solutions that can lower cost, reduce risk and increase capabilities for Bank of America. As part of this effort, he is responsible for influencing the bank’s technology strategy and expertise, while developing strategic relationships between the firm’s investment banking and institutional equities businesses and the venture capital community. Hylton joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2014 with more than 20 years’ experience in financial services information technology. Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he held similar technology partnership and strategy positions at JPMorgan Chase and research and development at Credit Suisse. Previously, Hylton served in engineering and operational management positions both in the U.S. and abroad.
