Iris Bujatti has a diverse work experience in the field of compliance and legal in the banking industry for more than 20 years. She worked in the past for the Austrian Financial Market Authority in the area of banking supervision and held afterwards various management positions for Legal and Compliance in banks in Austria. In 2014 Iris joined Erste Group and is currently responsible as the Chief Compliance Officer since July 2020. Erste Group Bank AG was founded in 1819 as the first Austrian savings bank, went public in 1997 with a strategy to expand its retail business into Central and Eastern Europe. Since then, Erste Group has grown to become one of the largest financial services providers in the Eastern part of Europe in terms of clients and total assets.

Iris Bujatti completed her Master´s and Doctor´s degree at the Law School of the University of Vienna 2003 and 2006.
