Jarrad Hee is a Managing Director and Group Head of Capital and Portfolio Analytics in Emirates NBD. He leads the banking group in UAE, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, India and overseas branches in Basel II / III, IFRS 9 analytics, ICAAP and model validation. His model validation scope covers regulatory models in credit, market, liquidity, Pillar 2, compliance and various AI / ML models.

Previously, Jarrad held the role of Senior Vice President and was Group Head of Credit Portfolio Analytics in DBS Bank in Singapore developing AIRB models. His scope of work covers Singapore, Indonesia, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China as well as international branches. Prior to joining DBS, Jarrad was Head of Risk Analytics and Modeling in Halifax Bank of Scotland Australia (now Lloyds Group), developing AIRB models to achieve AIRB Based accreditation in Australia.

Jarrad was a Senior Manager and Head of STP Research with KPMG Consulting in Sydney, Australia where he led numerous large-scale projects in the Far East and Australia for BNP Paribas, Merrill Lynch, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ Bank, Barclays Global Investors, OCBC Bank.

He has also published his research in the Journal of Credit Risk, Internal Auditing, Information and Management, Journal of Global Information Management. He has been interviewed on his thought leadership and insights on Basel II implementation by AsiaRisk and Business Review Weekly (BRW) periodicals.

Jarrad holds Doctorate in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Murdoch University Australia and a Bachelor of Business Administration with Merit from the National University of Singapore.
