Kirsty Leece is the Group CRO of Vitality - covering the UK Health and Life insurance businesses, as well as the wider Global Markets. Kirsty sits on the Group and UK Executive Committees and ensures the sound risk management for the whole group. Vitality has pioneered the concept of Shared Value Insurance in the UK – the model is built on incentivising members to engage in healthy activities that benefit them in the form of improved health, and offering rewards that support them to sustain healthy behaviours. As a result, Vitality benefits from improved risk dynamics as an insurer while business and society benefit from healthier employees and citizens.

Before joining Vitality in early 2021, Kirsty was an actuarial consultant at Willis Towers Watson, in the Life Insurance team specialising in risk management. In this role she supported a number of insurer’s risk teams to enhance their risk management and led the risk proposition area. Prior to becoming an actuary, Kirsty worked in Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank.
