Laura Talvitie is PwC UK’s Digital Assets Regulatory Lead, advising financial institutions, crypto-native firms and regulators on the evolving regulatory and supervisory landscape for digital assets.

She specialises in the implications of new UK, EU and global frameworks for business models, governance, risk management and operating models, and works with firms moving from digital asset strategy into implementation.

Laura regularly engages with regulators and industry bodies and leads PwC thought leadership on digital assets, including joint publications with Barclays and TheCityUK. Her recent work has included advising on regulatory authorisation strategies, supporting governance and risk framework design for digital asset firms, developing a digital money strategy for a globally significant regulator, and leading PwC programmes focused on scaling tokenisation businesses.

Laura is the Founding UK Chapter President of the Association for Women in Cryptocurrency and a member of the regulatory working group at Global Digital Finance.
