Dr. Lucia Milena Murgia is an Associate Professor of Finance at the School of Management, University College London. She began her academic career as a Lecturer in Finance at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia, where she also served as Fintech Lab Coordinator. In that role, she led initiatives integrating Bloomberg technology into finance education, coordinated training activities for students and faculty, and supported recruitment and industry engagement through fintech-related events. Dr. Murgia holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Norwich Business School, where she also participated in research training at McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management. Her academic background includes an MSc in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute at the University of Lugano and a BSc in Economics and Management from Bocconi University. Before entering academia, she worked in the financial industry in Switzerland and the UK.
