Manuel is a Telecommunications Engineer with over 20 years of international banking experience. Among other duties within the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management function at Banco Santander, he leads the risk participation on ESG risk initiatives, including regulatory and supervisory ones. As part of this role, he chairs the ESG Risk Task Force at the European Banking Federation, and is a member of the EFRAG Banking Advisory Panel. Finally, he also cooperates and is a lecturer in several Masters for different Universities and Business Schools
