Melissa Longmore is the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for Ireland and heads the oversight of Market Risk for Coinbase’ Global. In her role, she leads the enterprise risk management strategy for Coinbase’s e-money licensed entity in Ireland (CBIE), ensuring rigorous alignment with European regulatory standards and the expectations of the Central Bank of Ireland. Additionally, in her capacity for oversight of Market Risk for Coinbase Global, she maintains rigorous oversight of market risk across Coinbase's suite of crypto products.

Prior to joining Coinbase, Melissa held prominent senior leadership roles at Bank of Ireland, including Head of Market & Liquidity Risk and Head of Enterprise Risk, where she was accountable for market and liquidity risks across all group business areas and oversaw the Group's Risk Management Framework, ESG, and Data and Model Risk. Her extensive international experience also includes building a market risk and pricing servicing team for FMS SG across Munich, New York, and Dublin, as well as delivering quantitative risk advisory for global banks, clearing houses, and international energy companies across the UK, Europe, and China.
