Mike brings extensive experience in the banking industry, encompassing corporate, retail, operations and credit risk management roles within the branch network. His career includes senior positions in Global Operational Risk at Barclays—where he successfully led the firm’s Advanced Measurement Approach (AMA) application—and at HSBC, where he implemented the organisation’s first Operational Risk framework.

Since working with ORX on a consultancy basis, Mike has led several strategic initiatives, including the development of industry reference libraries for controls, risk indicators, and processes and services. He is currently leading ORX’s Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) initiative.
