Mitch is the Chief Compliance Officer and ExCo member at Allica Bank, and a regular public speaker. He started his career in the RAF, training as a Pilot, before moving into financial services and has over 23 years’ experience in Corporate Banking and FinTech, having held senior positions at Citi, Barclays, JP Morgan, Ebury, Banking Circle and now Allica Bank.

Mitch is the Vice Chair of the Advisory Board of the Payments Association and the Mentor for their Regulatory working group; and is on the Executive Committee for the Association of Foreign Exchange & Payments Companies. He was also previously the Chair of the “Interbank Payment Policy Committee” for UK Finance.

He has been listed as “One to Watch” by Money 20/20 and holds English, Scottish and Northern Irish Law degrees, plus a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Governance Risk and Compliance, and a Fellow of the International Compliance Association.
