Myriam Khairallah serves as a Counter-Terrorism and Threat Assessment Expert with the UN Security Council’s ISIL (Da’esh)/Al-Qaida/Taliban Monitoring Team, covering the MENA region and the Arabian Peninsula, and contributing to analysis on terrorism financing and foreign terrorist fighters since August 2021. Previously, she was Senior Financial Analyst and Head of Section at Lebanon’s Financial Intelligence Unit, where she supported national efforts to combat terrorism financing and implement targeted financial sanctions. Earlier, she worked as a Financial Analyst at the Central Bank of Lebanon and the Ministry of Finance.
Ms. Khairallah holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Lebanese American University, is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and Global Sanctions Specialist as licensed by the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists and holds an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School. She is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
