Panayiotis DionysopoulosHead of Capital at ISDASpeaker
Profile
Panayiotis Dionysopoulos joined ISDA in March 2014. He is the Global Head of Financial and Enterprise Risk at ISDA leading work across financial risk, capital and enterprise risk frameworks. His work takes a cross-product, cross-risk view of the trading book to drive more consistent risk management, greater capital and liquidity efficiency, and closer alignment between industry practice and regulatory frameworks.
His team produces industry papers and quantitative analysis on derivatives policy and is closely engaged in the global implementation of Basel III and related reforms. The remit also extends to emerging areas — sustainable finance, digital assets and tokenisation — where they intersect with trading book and enterprise risk.
Before ISDA, Panayiotis was a Treasury Manager at RBS, focused on capital management and Basel III implementation, having begun his career in Product Control at ABN AMRO.
He holds an MSc in Accounting & Control from Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), the INSEAD Executive Certificate in Global Management and is a CFA charterholder.
