Pierpaolo Montana is the Chief Risk Officer of Mediobanca Banking Group since June 2014. Previously he has worked in the Risk Management function of BNP Paribas and WestLB, based in London.
He started his career teaching and researching in Mathematics in various Universities including Paris 1 – “Panthéon-Sorbonne” and Rome 1 – “La Sapienza” and the transition to the financial industry occurred with a three years’ experience as risk analytics expert in the Supervisory Department in the Banca d’Italia.
