Pooja Bhatla is Head of ERM International Frameworks at Citi, where she leads the strategy, design and embedding of enterprise risk frameworks across Citi’s international footprint. She drives Group-wide consistency and line of sight across key legal entities and jurisdictions, while helping shape the application of risk management frameworks to evolving areas such as artificial intelligence and digital assets.

Pooja brings 25+ years of experience across global banking, spanning Enterprise Risk Management, credit and counterparty risk, country risk, regulatory risk and risk governance. She has led complex cross-functional and cross-border risk initiatives and held senior roles at Citi and NatWest, with earlier experience at Oracle Financial Services and in corporate banking. She holds an MBA and advanced qualifications in Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association.
