Priti joined the World Bank Group in 2024, serving as the head of the Model Risk & Governance (MRG) within the Market and Counterparty Risk unit. In this position, she is responsible for model risk management and governance of risk, capital and portfolio models for the WBG institutions’ (IBRD, IDA, and MIGA).
Before taking on this position, Priti worked at the Treasury Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for three years, where she led the Exotics & XVA analytics and Market Data teams. Prior to joining ADB, Priti spent 15 years in front office trading at Royal Bank of Scotland/NatWest in London, starting as a Fixed-Income desk Quant, transitioning to a Fixed-Income & FX Quant, and eventually leading the SAF Analytics Quant group – which forms the backbone of the bank's multi-asset trading, pricing, and risk systems. Later, Priti moved to NatWest’s private side, leading analytics for the corporate risk advisory team for large corporate clients and European sovereign funds.
Priti holds a PhD in Pure Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.
