Raj Singh is Founder and Principal of Accredere AG, a Zürich-based institutional advisory firm. He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Vanguard Ireland Limited, the management company for Vanguard's Irish-domiciled ETFs and common contractual funds serving its European and international businesses, where he chairs the Product Approval Committee. Until September 2026 he chaired the combined Risk Committees of the AXA UK board. His earlier board roles include AIB Group plc, where he was nominee director for the Irish State, and The Co-operative Bank plc and HSBC Bank Oman SAOG, where he chaired the Risk and Audit Committees.

Over four decades his career has been closely tied to investment management. As Group Chief Risk Officer at Standard Life Aberdeen he led risk across one of Europe's largest asset managers, covering public and private markets, multi-asset and liquidity management. At EFG Bank he oversaw risk for the private banking and asset management businesses. As Group CRO at Allianz his remit extended to the risk oversight of the group's asset management arm, including PIMCO and Allianz Global Investors. At Swiss Re he oversaw risk across the group's investment portfolio and its asset and liability management. This followed more than twelve years with Citibank across several geographies, where his work included commercial lending, structured finance, consumer and private banking and real estate lending.

He has worked closely with supervisors including FINMA, the PRA and FCA, the Central Bank of Ireland, the ECB and BaFin, EIOPA, ESMa and IRDAI among many others. He is based in Zürich.
