Rosaline Laverley is currently a Managing Director, Global Head of Operational and Compliance Risk for Group Functions at Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) across all geographies since February 2023. Prior to this, she was the Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Funding Circle Plc, one of the largest SME lending FinTech companies globally with responsibilities for the enterprise risk management framework, credit quality, model, and operational risk.

Rosaline has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years and has held various senior Risk roles at Morgan Stanley and Bank of America in New York and London.

Rosaline started her career at IBM and holds a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Dalhousie University Canada, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Sierra Leone. She’s a frequent speaker on topics such as risk management, diversity, equity, and inclusion (panellist on “A Talk on Inclusion Starts with I”), ESG and sustainability.
