Russel Goldstein is an experienced Chief Risk Officer with more than a decade of leadership experience at Allianz Darta, where he has helped shape and strengthen risk management practices within the insurance sector. His career spans senior roles across EY in Australia, South Africa and Ireland, where he developed deep expertise in the audit of insurance companies. He also held roles at the Central Bank of Ireland, contributing to supervisory and governance policy and gaining valuable insight into financial regulation and oversight.

As a founding member of the CRO World Conference, Russel has played a key role in developing a dynamic forum for Chief Risk Officers across Africa and Europe, encouraging collaboration, knowledge-sharing and practical dialogue among senior risk leaders. He is a Chartered Accountant accredited by both SAICA and ICAEW, with a strong foundation in financial risk, enterprise risk management and internal controls.
