Profile
Sebastian is currently the Head of Climate Risk Scenario Design at Citigroup. He is responsible for the design and expansion of climate scenarios for credit and market risks across enterprise as well as various legal entities. Previously, he was a Senior Economist at Bank of America where he led climate scenario generation. Sebastian designed the IFRS9 macroeconomic framework at Standard Chartered. At the International Rubber Study Group, he modelled the productivity of rubber trees and measured the impact El Niño Southern Oscillation has on rubber production. He holds a BA in Economics from Manchester University, a GradCert in Mathematical Sciences from Heriot-Watt University and a MSc in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from Tilburg University. Sebastian is also affiliated as an associate fellow with the UK Centre for Greening Finance & Investment and as a senior research fellow with University of Bristol Business School.
